Politics Pilot runs election campaigns from Bengaluru for candidates across India — with a bias toward measurement, an allergy to theatre, and a habit of saying the unwelcome thing early.
Indian campaigning has world-class ground operations and almost no measurement.
The organising talent in Indian politics is genuinely formidable. A district organiser who can move eleven thousand people to a rally on four days’ notice is doing something no consultancy can teach. What is usually missing is the layer above it — knowing which eleven thousand, in which booths, for what measurable purpose.
We started Politics Pilot to sit in that gap. Not to replace the ground machine, which would be arrogant and wrong, but to point it. A verified survey, a booth scoreboard, a weekly review that kills what is not working, and a war room where the decision is written down with a name against it.
Since then we have worked 180-plus constituencies across 11 states, in local body, assembly and parliamentary elections. We have won seats that were written off and lost seats we thought were safe, and the second category taught us more.

Some of these have cost us contracts. We publish them so the wrong engagements end in the first conversation rather than the third month.
The seat decides the strategy
There is no house playbook applied to every constituency. A coastal Karnataka seat and a Vidarbha seat share almost nothing except the law. We start from the booth data every time, even when it contradicts what worked last cycle.
One candidate per seat
Once we sign a constituency we decline every other approach for it, including from the same party. Anything else is a conflict we cannot manage honestly, whatever the contract says.
Say no early
We have told candidates their seat was not winnable and walked away from the fee. A firm that tells you what you want to hear at T-180 is charging you for the privilege of losing.
Compliance is strategy
Section 127A, DLT, MCMC, expenditure and vehicle permissions are not admin. They are how campaigns get derailed in the final fortnight, and we treat them with the same seriousness as messaging.
Nothing we build is deniable
No fake accounts, no bought engagement, no planted stories. Everything we produce is attributable to the candidate and survives being examined by a journalist or an observer.
The data goes home with you
Voter records, grievance databases, worker structures and source code are handed over at the end of the engagement. We do not resell campaign data and we do not carry it into the same seat for someone else.

Data, digital, content and media monitoring run from our Bengaluru hub. Ground coordination, booth structure and candidate briefing run from a cell inside the constituency, because those cannot be done at a distance and anyone who tells you otherwise has not done them.
