WhatsApp Campaign Management

WhatsApp is where Indian political persuasion happens now, and almost every campaign runs it badly — unmanaged groups, forwarded rubbish, no opt-in trail and a permanent ban risk. We run it as proper infrastructure on the official Business API.

01

Group architecture that scales

The structure that works: one group per booth (max 256), a ward-level admin group above it, and a constituency core group at the top. Booth groups are for local information and grievance capture, not for forwarding state-level propaganda. We recruit and train two admins per group with a written content policy, because an unmoderated booth group becomes an opposition asset within a fortnight.

02

Business API, not personal numbers

Blasting from personal SIMs gets numbers banned inside 48 hours and takes your group admins down with them. We run broadcasts on the official WhatsApp Business API with approved message templates, a verified business profile, and a documented opt-in trail — which is also what keeps you defensible if a complaint reaches the ECI.

03

Chatbot for grievance and volunteer capture

A campaign chatbot handles the volume your office cannot: voter looks up their booth and serial number, files a civic grievance with a photo and GPS, signs up as a volunteer, or requests the candidate at a local event. Every interaction lands in the CRM tagged by booth. Grievances that get an actual follow-up call are the single highest-conversion voter contact we measure.

04

Content that gets forwarded

Nothing longer than 30 seconds of video, nothing that needs sound to work, one message per day maximum per group, and always local — this ward's road, this booth's water line. Constituency-specific content gets forwarded 6–8x more than state-level party content in the groups we track.

FAQ

WhatsApp questions, answered directly

Will our numbers get banned?

Not on the Business API with proper opt-in and approved templates. They absolutely will if you blast from personal numbers, which is what most campaigns do until it happens to them.

Can we send political content on WhatsApp Business API?

Yes, within Meta's policy and Indian election rules, with recorded opt-in and pre-approved templates. Content still requires MCMC pre-certification once the model code of conduct is in force.
